One of the most underrated and unassuming Italian restaurants I've ever tried! The Pizza Prosciutto was absolutely delicious and reminds me of the ones we ate in Roma. It has a very rustic savoury flavour and the rockets didn't overwhelm the meat and mozzarella cheese, and the bread was thin and slightly chewy exactly like the ones we had in Italy. The angel hair Capellini pasta with crab sauce was full of crab umami and works so well with the tangy tomato base. The pasta was Al dente but still soft enough to be curled into a ball with our forks and spoons. The fritto misto of battered shrimp and calamari was crispy and light, not greasy. They were wonderfully paired with the warm tomato salsa dipping sauce. The service staff were super friendly and introduced us to food items that were not even on the menu. Amazing place to try authentic Italian cuisine! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Isaiah Koo

Burlamacco Ristorante: Authentic Tuscan Cuisine in Carnival Mystery

Nestled in the heart of Marine Parade, Burlamacco Ristorante is our hidden gem for Italian delights. Helmed by the adept Chef Mas Wong, this place brings the simplicity and warmth of Italian dining to the table, without much fanfare but with genuine flavours that speak for themselves.

Borrowing its name from the famed Tuscan carnival, Burlamacco has a quiet charm about it. Its cozy ambience invites us in for moments of togetherness, surrounded by subtle nods to Italian culture that give our meals an added touch of authenticity.

Signature Selections

Capellini

Our visits often feature the Capellini, a simple yet profound dish where the angel hair pasta and blue swimmer crab are bathed in a delicate lobster bisque, embodying the essence of the sea in a forkful.

Agnello

Next, we have the Agnello, featuring tender baked lamb with a mustard herb crust, served alongside carrot puree and mixed vegetables. A classic dish worth savoring again and again.

Cacciiucco Alla Toscana

The heartiness of the Cacciucco Alla Toscana stew, features a medley of fresh seafood including lobster tail, mussels, and prawns. Other ingredients like carrots and sausage add depth to the tomato-based seafood stew, making for a well-rounded dish where the soup base perfectly complements the array of seafood.

Oddle Recommends

When it comes to authentic Italian delicacies, their Pizza is not to be missed. Sharing this dish took us back to Rome with its rustic, savoury flavours. The mozzarella blends perfectly with the delicate saltiness of the prosciutto, all nestled atop a thin, chewy crust that's reminiscent of true Italian craftsmanship.

A shared dessert of Tiramisu, not too sweet, just perfectly balanced with coffee and a sprinkle of pistachios, often marks the end of our meals. It's the kind of dessert that leaves us lingering over the table, not in a rush to leave this slice of Italy behind.
