We had the best experience here. I will dine here every time I'm in Singapore and will recommend it to everyone. It was fully booked when I went to book, but they have a waiting list, and sure enough, we got a table. Staff are professional and friendly here. We went here for a work meeting / dinner, it was perfect. It is about 30 min by taxi from Marina Bay Sands, and totally worth the drive. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Located in Dempsey, we were irresistibly drawn to explore CANCHITA after coming across captivating photos of its stunning interior online. While we hadn't had much exposure to Peruvian cuisine in Singapore, it was the restaurant's aesthetic charm that initially piqued our interest.

As we stepped into CANCHITA, we were immediately enveloped in the lively pulse of Latin American culture. The air resonated with the rhythms of salsa music, and the colorful interiors provided a warm and inviting backdrop.

CANCHITA offers three distinct dining areas, each with its own unique charm. The intimate Inka Room, the lush Amazon Room, and the breezy Outdoor Terrace all beautifully capture the diverse landscapes of Peru. It's an ideal setting for a romantic evening, whether you're a couple seeking an intimate dinner or planning a special event like a wedding or corporate gathering. CANCHITA can accommodate bookings for 50-80 guests, ensuring a memorable Peruvian experience.

Signature Dishes

Ceviche Clasico

We started with the Ceviche Clasico, a fresh mix of fish, zesty red onions, and tangy Peruvian Tiger's Milk Marinade. The marinade had a slight kick but was refreshing, and the sweet potato chips and Canchita corn added a nice crunch.

Pulpo a la Brasa

CANCHITA's menu reflects the fusion of diverse culinary influences in Peruvian cuisine. One of CANCHITA’s signatures, this dish featured grilled octopus on lima bean purée and mashed avocado, with crispy quinoa and garlic. It was a unique and tasty combination.

Parihuela

We also tried the Parihuela, a classic Peruvian seafood tomato soup with fish, prawns, clams, and crab, infused with Aji Panca, tomatoes, white wine, and a touch of Chicha de Jora. It had a rich and authentic flavour with a touch of spice.
