We lived in HK for 4-5 years and this place serves really delicious dimsum and wanton noodle in soup. We always passed by this restaurant and never tried it until recently. I usually go to Imperial Treasure restaurants, so I must say this place is more affordable. Their dimsum tastes like “my chef dad made it for me at home” and I really liked it. Not much MSG. We will def visit again to try their other dishes.. Service was seamless- nth to find fault with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ MC 12

Tycoons-approved Teochew Restaurant Pi Food, Led by Ex 4-Star Hotel Chef

We'd been hearing quite the chatter about Pi Food, especially since they rolled out a new Teochew menu – especially with aunties and uncles singing its praises and rumours that Chef Chen Kai Bin had billionaires coming back for more. So naturally, we had to check it out.

Chef Chen Kai Bin, renowned for his eight years at the helm of the kitchen at the 4-star Garden Hotel (汕头花园宾馆, has crafted a menu that's a true ode to authentic Teochew cuisine. And the setting is just perfect – a cozy yet elegant ambiance, ideal for intimate dinners or grand celebrations.

Signature Dishes

Claypot Seafood Congee (海鲜砂锅粥)

Picture a sizzling claypot filled with prawns, crab, and dry scallops. As we lifted the lid, the aroma was enchanting. This was Teochew porridge at its finest, a comforting blend of flavours that reminded us of cherished family dinners.

Teochew Braised Platter (潮州⻧水拼盘)

The Teochew Braised Platter is a harmonious mix of succulent duck, tender tofu, and savoury pork belly and intestines, all soaked in over 20 aromatic herbs and spices. Trying this dish, we could tell that the chef's skills had created flavours that were deep and delicate.

Steamed Yellow Croaker with Puning Soybean Sauce (普宁豆酱蒸⻩花⻥)

This dish captures the essence of Teochew cuisine. The fish was tender, delicately infused with the flavours of Pu Ning soybean paste.
