📍 Telok Ayer
If you're on the hunt for the best steaks in Singapore, Meadesmoore will frequently top the list – and deservedly so. This steakhouse in the bustling Telok Ayer area is known for its unique take on less common cuts, like Ox Tongue, Onglet, and yes, even braised pig’s head. Ascending the stairs to the restaurant, the space opened up into an eclectic mix of industrial and rustic aesthetics. The Meadesmoore Cut is their pride – a unique steak that brings together different textures and flavours from select cuts of beef, all on one plate. And it’s not just about the steaks; their menu offers a range of inventive dishes that promise to delight the palate. It's a place that feels like an insider’s secret, but one that we're always eager to share. So, if you're around Telok Ayer and looking for a memorable meal, Meadesmoore is definitely worth checking out for an enjoyable evening.

📍 Marine Parade
In the heart of Marine Parade, Burlamacco Ristorante is our go-to for a cozy Italian evening. The decor, with soft wooden touches and dashes of red, sets a scene where pasta is rolled by hand and seafood is always ocean-fresh. When it comes to pizza, they're serving slices that transport you to a Roman sidewalk café. It’s the kind of place you'll want to tell your friends about, but only after you've secured your own spot for next time.

📍 Holland Grove
Interesting how elixirs are often found in the misty mountains. In this case though, Elixir comes in the form of a gem of a cafe (and wine bar by night) hidden in Mount Sinai (Holland Grove). Their previous incarnation was Elixir Boutique Roasters at Serene Center which closed in late 2022. Thankfully, the good folks found a new home and the reopened Elixir Coffee & Wine. Whether it's sipping on their award-winning coffee while enjoying the beautiful brunch served or indulging in a pizzas and wine under the stars, this place has a magic of its own. The french toasts are truly amazing here and their specialty sourdough pizzas can truly give some of the best pizzerias in SG a run for their money. There are plenty of cafes in Singapore to visit but if quality food and great coffee is what you are after, Elixir is the place for you! And really, go try their pizzas and wine (which are only available for lunch and dinner!)

📍 Greenwood
You know that friend who always knows the best spots? Farangse is that friend in restaurant form. It's the only spot in Singapore where French cuisine and Issan flavors stand proudly side by side, each holding its own. They've got the steak down to a science, cooked with a French mastery that's hard to find elsewhere, and their Thai dishes like Fermented Pork Sausage and Deep-Fried Thai Pork Neck are as genuine as it gets. There's no fusion, no confusion, just a heartfelt tribute to two beautiful cuisines in their most authentic forms.
