Gotti Italiano

📍Maxwell

What do you do after naming your restaurant after an infamous New York Sicilian Mafia boss? Make it the swankiest and most stylish restaurant in town which exudes seductive charm and well, by the way, serves some fascinating Italian fare which will make The Godfather himself nod in approval. Gotti has attracted plenty due to its mafia-themed set up but it’s their food which has truly won the hearts of diners. This writer has had a hard time pronouncing the Italian names of the antipasti, pizzas and pastas he had, but gosh, everything was just Mamma Mia! Read more in our review, but seriously, just head over to Gotti and experience it yourself! Your date or your friends will be saying Grazie to you after you bring them there!

Estuary Restaurant & Bar

📍Orchard

Fresh is boring? At Estuary, they challenge this notion. This unique seafood bar specializes in dry-aged seafood, a process that takes up to a week and results in incredibly flavourful dishes. We tried the 7 Days Dry-aged Hamachi Fish, and once again, it’s Oddle team approved and we bet you’ll love it too. But of course, live seafood is also available, and we have already heard how fresh and tasty it is. Did we mention the all-day one-for-one drinks? Yes, at Estuary, happy hour never ends! Conveniently located in Orchard, it's more of an under-the-radar hidden gem with a warm and inviting ambiance, complete with pink-hued lighting and comfortable seatings. So next time you're pondering where to dine in Orchard, remember Estuary – it's a spot that's sure to impress your friends with its unique take on seafood and relaxed vibe.

Black Knight Hotpot

📍Millenia Walk

Singaporeans love hotpot and here’s one approved by Jay Chou, A-Mei and numerous other celebrities that you must go- Black Knight Hotpot, a 50 year old brand from Taipei. Cooked for 16 long hours, the luscious and nourishing fish maw chicken pot, 1 of the 7 soup bases available, is highly addictive and enjoyable. With every addition of the luxurious meats like Japanese A5 snow wagyu, Okinawa Pork Belly and freshly minced prawn paste, the soup just gets better too! We recommend to visit Black Knight in a bigger group (4 or above) to get a full experience of the Taiwanese-style hotpot experience! 🛎️ Claim a voucher for $10 off on Beef or Seafood during your next dine-in!

Seng House

Cafe-hopping in Tanjong Katong? Don't miss out on Seng House, the sister brand of Seng Coffee Bar, serving up a delightful Hainanese-Western fusion menu perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner. This cafe is a fantastic spot to unwind, boasting chic vibes and a nostalgic green and white interior. Plus, it offers an alfresco dining area that's pet-friendly. During our lunch visit, we were particularly impressed with their signature Hainanese Pork Chop and Claypot Chicken Rice – both dishes were a perfect fusion of flavours. We're already excited to return and explore their brunch and dinner options! With its high Google reviews, this place can get really busy, so be sure to book in advance to secure your table! 🛎️ Dine-in Promo: Enjoy $2 for buttermilk wings (up. $14) with a min spending of $60.

Atout

📍Dempsey

Since taking over the famed Au Petit Salut in 2018, Atout has quietly amassed quite a cult following. Having Chef Patrick Heuberger, who coincidentally started his career at Au Petit Salut and built his reputation at Le Bistrot du Sommelier, at the helm certainly helped. The Bread Basket and Duck Rilette were delightful. But it’s Chef Patrick’s pepper-cruster Angus ribeye and sauteed frog legs which have our team shouting “Délicieux!” And of course, you can’t miss out on their selection of incredible wines! The restaurant is spacious, beautifully furnished and has plenty of natural lighting making it a lovely choice for a date, gathering or event. Read our review to learn more!

Keng Eng Kee

📍Alexandra Village, SAFRA Tampines, SAFRA Punggol

1 brand, 3 outlets, 3 generations and 53 years of “Wok Hei” excellence. Keng Eng Kee, or more affectionately known as KEK, is one of, if not the brightest shining stars of Singapore’s Zi Char world. Other than being adored by regular foodies like us, KEK’s fans also include plenty of SG’s michelin starred chefs as well as top chefs from Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong and even Spain. This truly is testament to not only the food, but the way KEK has treated every single one of their customers! You can google the usual “must trys” at KEK but their other dishes are just as fantastic! Having tried almost everything on their menu, Oddle’s secret favourites include their Claypot Hokkien Noodles, Marmite Chicken, Claypot Pig Liver, Spinach Soup and curry pork with steamed bun! Read our review for more intimate info about KEK!
